Bank House Bed and Breakfast
Bank House is a beautiful period house and garden on a quiet street in the lovely town of Penrith. Our rooms are elegantly decorated and furnished (some with antiques) in keeping with a victorian house. We are ideally located for touring the Lake District, Eden Valley, pennines and Hadrian's wall. A lovely place to stay for a short or long break and if you are working or need to keep in contact with people we have wireless free internet.
3 for 2 offer and public transport offer
Sunday to Thursday three nights for the price of two until March 31st. So you pay for two nights and get the third free. If your stay includes a Friday or Saturday you pay the normal price for two days and £24 for the third day.
If you travel by public transport to stay and can show a valid ticket you can get a further 5% off this offer and 10% off for any other stay. You must phone for this discount.
If you book on line the autumn offer is worked out for you but best to phone about public transport offer.
Our aim is to make your stay with us as pleasant and memorable a one as possible either long or short. Look at our breakfast page (indeed read the reviews on the internet)to see your choice of breakfast with locally sourced food such as home made bread using locally milled flour from the Watermill at Little Salkeld, jams and pickles, as well as Cranstons cumberland sausage, local bacon and black pudding.
We have ambitions to be greener so as well as using all eco products in the estabslishment we provide toiletries that are kind to the planet and to you in the ensuites.

Bank House gives panoramic views of the Lakeland fells, and in our period dining room enjoy home made and locally sourced produce for breakfast. Off street parking is available and storage for bikes.
